Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Learn how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Effective date: February 11, 2026
CloudKeep ("we," "our," or "us") operates the CloudKeep platform, a developer-first cloud password and secrets manager. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By accessing or using CloudKeep, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign up using a third-party provider such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that provider.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with CloudKeep, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps. This data helps us improve our service and troubleshoot issues.
Encrypted Vault Data
Your secrets, passwords, and other vault contents are stored in encrypted form. Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot access, read, or decrypt your vault data. Only you hold the keys to your information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the CloudKeep platform
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Process transactions and manage your subscription
- Send service-related communications, such as security alerts and account notifications
- Analyze usage patterns to improve performance, reliability, and user experience
- Detect, prevent, and respond to security threats and fraudulent activity
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
3. Data Storage and Security
CloudKeep employs a zero-knowledge encryption architecture. Your vault data is encrypted on your device before it is transmitted to our servers. We never have access to your master password or decryption keys. Even in the event of a server breach, your secrets remain unreadable.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, regular security audits, and strict access controls for our infrastructure. Your data is stored on servers located in secure, SOC 2 compliant data centers.
While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique master password and enable two-factor authentication.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to support the operation of CloudKeep, including payment processors, analytics providers, and infrastructure hosts. These providers only receive the minimum information necessary to perform their services and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We will never share your data with advertisers.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
CloudKeep uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, such as maintaining your authenticated session and remembering your preferences. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how our service is used.
You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of CloudKeep.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
